Bunker Quantity Survey

A Bunker Quantity Survey (BQS) is a professional inspection process conducted to accurately measure the amount of bunker fuel (marine fuel) on a ship. This survey ensures that the quantity of fuel delivered to or received from a ship is correct, helping prevent disputes, fraud, or fuel losses.

ROB survey

An ROB Survey (Remaining On Board Survey) is conducted to determine the exact amount of cargo or fuel remaining on a vessel at a specific point in time—usually after unloading or before loading operations. It is especially important in the shipping and oil & gas industries.

On/Off Hire Survey

An On/Off Hire Survey is a type of marine survey conducted when a vessel is delivered to (on-hire) or returned from (off-hire) a charter. It documents the ship’s condition and quantity of fuel and other consumables at the time of handover.

Condition Survey

A Condition Survey is a detailed inspection of a vessel (or any marine asset) to assess and document its current physical condition. It is usually carried out by a marine surveyor and is commonly used for insurance, chartering, buying/selling, or maintenance planning.
